Saving our seas?

In early November the Marine and Coastal Access Bill received Royal Assent and became an Act. This is an important step towards setting up desperately needed marine reserves. It's now up to us to prevent the Act from being watered down, by arguing the case for significant and properly protected reserves.

The Wildlife Trusts announced the Act with my image of a painted goby - they felt this little fish looked suitably enthusiastic and celebratory! Click here for more images from the British Isles.
